I want to point out from past to present how our experience with Lindelles has been....

I initially went onto the Davids Bridal website just to search around and somehow my contact information was forwarded to Lindelle Studios so that they could solicite my business. Being that Davids Bridal is a widely know company I figured that I'd go ahead and set an appointment up with Lindelles...I mean, David's Bridal wouldn't associate themselves with a photography company which had bad business practices would they?? (Boy, was I wrong but I'll get to that part later!) So the appointment was scheduled and my now husband and I went to the Cherry Hill,NJ office to meet with one of the sales consultants. We were given the whole sales pitch, looked at albums from past weddings, and ultimately signed a contract with Lindelles that evening...everything seemed perfect (we chose the package that cost us $2,900).

We immediately felt uncomfortable when after signing the contract & putting a huge deposit down we NEVER heard from the sales consultant again...the only communication between us and Lindelles from that point on was the invoices that they would send us for the remainder of the payments that were due for our photos. It was now three weeks before our wedding day and I realized that we STILL had not recieved a phone call from our photographer. We placed several phone calls just to find out what was up and when we should expect to hear from someone and recieved no response back. FIVE days before our wedding---we finally recieve a phone call from the photographer who mentioned that he would be traveling from New Jersey to Maryland on the day of our wedding. From the first day we decided to contract with Lindelles they PROMISED us that we would have a local photographer, from Maryland, who was familiar with the area and our wedding location (by NO MEANS would I have wanted to contract with a company who would be sending a photographer from the NJ area whom had NEVER even been to Maryland before!) I was extremely nervous at that point b/c I now had a photographer traveling to an unfamiliar place on my wedding day...not only would he know absolutely nothing about the place he was about to take the pictures at--who knew if he would even make it to the wedding ON TIME!

Upon recieving our proofs I was extremely disappointed. Out of all the pictures taken, there were only a handful which were even remotely good (the photos my grandmother took at the wedding were so much better!). Overall many pictures taken were off centered, horribly composed, not leveled, not structured....peoples heads were even cut off in some of the pictures! Our wedding was in a hotel and instead of positioning us with a decent background we are standing in front of red couches with horrible hotel carpet in all the photos. Every portait taken looked sloppy and had people un-positioned.

Our wedding was on November 11, 2006....it is now June 10th, 2007 and I still have not got the chance to sit down and pick the proofs for my wedding album and the two parent albums. The reason being that NO ONE from Lindelles will return my phone call to let me know exactly how to go about doing this. There is no place on pictage.com to pick our photos without paying again so I can only assume we need to physically go into Lindelles which is great but nobody will return my call to assist and let me know what to do!!! I even called and pressed 1 to speak with a sale consultant thinking at least I could get someone on the phone who could help but still just got an answering machine.

I read all of the previous rip off reports and it seems as though the same on-going complaints have been made. This REALLY scares me because it seems that no one else was able to get anything resolved. It is unfair that this company is able to take advantage of consumers this way...I was so excited to get my proofs back and then to put together my albums but Lindelles has completely taken that excitement away. I've already came to terms with the fact that the quality of our pictures aren't going to be as good as expected; All I want at this point is someone, anyone, to answer the phone or respond to the messages we've left so that we can at least get the albums and negatives we paid $2,900 for and move on with our lives.
