Mercantila is a ripoff company. I ordered a cedar chest from them four months ago and it was a gift for someone. Not only did it take a month to receive but it came in a box where you put it together yourself and this was not stated anywhere on the website. They also sent me the WRONG cedar chest. After calling their business for four weeks and finally getting put through to corporate they finally came and picked up the chest. However, it has been another month now and I still have not received the chest. I have called and called and been put on hold or had representatives tell me that they sent a note up to corporate even after I've been asking to speak with them. I have yet to hear of anything. I would not recommend ordering from this company their products are by far the cheapest on the internet and now I fully understand why. They trick you and make you assemble everything as well as in my case, fail to even send the product.
