Well, after being robbed by BuyOwner.com we were subjected to more injury when we finally surcame to the fact that we were going to have to place our home on the MLS. MLSRealty said that they would give us money back when our house closed, to help "cover the cost" of our worthless BuyOwner ad.

Then they made us wait for a week until we could BOTH be home for a appoitment. This was so that we could sign their papers right away. We were told that it was "free" but when the salesman arrived he told us that people usually paid a $100.00 "tip" for listing. I informed him we would NOT be doing this, later he tried to slip in into the contract saying that we coud just "change it later" but this would get us in the MLS right away. We said that we did not want to go this route and SIMPLY wanted to list in the MLS offering 3% commission to a buyers agent, still selling the home ourselves.

They will tell you they are having problems with papers and must use carbon. BE CAUTIOUS!!! Carbon records your sigature. NO one uses carbon anymore. I have no idea where they even get the stuff.

As the salesman "sped up" more and more, partically answered our questions, "slipped things in" and what not. I became more and more afraid until I finally asked him to leave us the papers (ALL OF THEM) to review before we would compleate them (We were basically DONE at this time) and he became VERY aggressive!!! Like a starving puppy. Practically begging then becoming angry. I asked that he give me the papers and leave. I told him after looking into it more we would call him if we were still interested.

I finally had to PRY the papers out of his hands and scratch through our signatures on the carbon before giving the carbon back to him. He insisted on having the carbon. I was alarmed at this. How cheap can you be? I figured it was not the .01 cent carbon he wanted but our much more valuable signatures.

Shaking, I closed the door and tore the papers in half. They make you sign with them for a Year!!! No other real estate agent does this. And they do not give you anything back to save your loss from BuyOwner. This is all a scam. They are affiliated with BuyOwner.

In the end, we were lucky. We did not get burned twice. Do NOT use these people!!! We listed our property for $185 dollars on the MLS about a month ago and have had several people each week since then. To date, we have been listed on BuyOwner for about 5 months with NO on coming to look from that ad.

Buyer Beware!!!
