There was an ad in the Prince George's County Penny Saver for mailing brochures.  I went online to the website that was listed in the Penny Saver and reviewd the program, reviewed that Better Internet Bureau was backing it, as well reading the customer reviews.  After a few days went by, I decided to buy into the program.

The advertisement stated: This is not an offer of employment, but rather an opportunity to become an Independent Commissioned Mailer for our company. This is not a get rich quick scheme. This is a proven method of making money while providing a service to a company that needs you to mail their order forms. 

To get you started immediately, we must require a one-time registration fee of only $35.00 plus shipping and handling. This deposit covers our expenses in getting you started with the guide and materials. It also guarantees you can work with us as long as you desire. Our unique program pays you $1.00 for every envelope you mail. You will never be required or asked to pay for any additional manuals, information or instructions. Remember you also receive a 20% commission on every product sold!

As much as we would like to get you started without the small fee, we must protect ourselves from people who are not serious and only want to satisfy their curiosity. Of course no business can provide costly guides and materials to everyone who asks for it. This small charge assures us that you're serious about earning money from home. There is no need to be concerned about this fee, since it will be refunded to you as soon as you mail your first 100 envelopes. Now your guide costs you nothing, and you have earned $100.00. We supply everything to get you started immediately.

I made the $35 mailer deposit online as well as the $10 shipping.  I received a confirmation that the money was received from them through email transmission.  The money has also cleared my bank account.  I received a book, flyers, and instructions that my materials would be sent to me the following week.  Four weeks have went by and I have not received anything from the company.  I have called them 7 times from the week of not receiving the tools and materials to get me started.  I have kept my end of the deal and they have not.  I've left messages and no response has been received.  I want my money back ($35 plus my $10 shipping) plain and simple.  This is clearing false advertisement as well as theft.
