I opened a claim with Peoples Trust due to a leak in my kitchen back in Jan 2017. They were unresponsive, causing me to resort to hiring an adjuster. It is now June 2018 and my kitchen is still missing cabinets, part of the wall, and mold continues to grow. Their Rapid Response Team has yet to step foot in my house. Along came Irma. When the hurricane passed through, I received damage to my roof and fence. I have a pool, so you can imagine how important it is to have my fence up. The roof has gotten worse and now I have mold inside my garage, directly under my son's room. I can only imagine what it looks like on the other side of the wall where the mold is growing. Once they found out I had an adjuster, the proceeded to sue me.

Stay away from this insurance company unless you like paying high premiums and not getting your house fixed when you file a claim. I've paid over $4,500 in premiums each year for the last 4 years (that's over $18k they've collected from me). You mean to tell me they got all that money from me and now that I need them to do their job, they are suing me?? Be Aware.
