Phoenix Car Rental I called Phoenix Car Rental on 02-06-14 to get an estimate on renting a car from 02-07-14 to 02-11-14 and they asvised me the total would be $139.00. I then realised I needed to take the car out of state so I called the same car rental company back to ask what that price would be and they said $50 more then the previous price, I asked them to reserve a car for me and that I would be in the next day after work. So the next day I arrived at phoenix Car Rental at 4pm 02-07-14 and they then quoted me a price of $249.00 and I was upset that the price had changed and they said they had just gave me an estimate but that was the price. I was very upset and told him I was never told about this and that the $249 was the total for everything that is what I was told and the guy on the other end of the phone hung up! I then called back and got a man on the phone that could not speak any english and he claimed the accounting dept would be contacting me. i could barely understand him enough to get that much out of him. I asked to speak with the man that just hung up on me and he claimed he was the only one there. Since that day I still have not received a call from Phoenix Car Rental. This company is extreamly unethical and they are obviously running a scam. Phoenix Arizona

I called Phoenix Car rental on 02-06-14 to inquire about renting a car on 02-07-14 to 02-11-14 and I was quoted $139.00 for those days. That same day I realized I would need the car to go out of state so I called back to ask what that charge wuld be and they quoted me $50 more then the last quote so I told them I would be in friday to rent a car.

So friday 02-07-014 4:30pm I went into Phoenix car Rental and then proceeded to tell me that the total for those days it would be $249.00. Totally different from the quote I got on the phone and they claim that was an estimate. I really could not do much about it since I was dropped off by a friend so I went ahead and agreed to it. So the guy behind the counter was Ed he asked me for my D.L. and a credit card and he said that he will be putting $249 plus $200 deposit in which he said would be credited to my account once I return.

I returned at 3:30 02-11-14 with a full tank of gas and when I went into the office the man asked me for my insurance card and I asked him why he was asking me now and he said that sometimes they do that if they forget when they rent the car. So I didnt think much of it and I asked when my $200 would be returned to me and he replied 2-3 days. So 2 days I proceeded to look at my bank account and the had only returned $52.00 back to me. I was steaming so I called the rental office and asked them why and thier reply was the $150 was for insurance and taxes. What? I asked and I told him that all was included in the $249 I already paid and the guy on the phone proceeded to hang up! I called back and got a man that could hardly speak english and I asked for the guy I was speaking with and he claimed he was rthe only person there. I could barely make out what he was saying and he said that the accounting dept will call me back. To this day I still have not recieved a call back or any of my deposit back.

This company is a rip off and unethical. Something needs to be done!
