We were given a Chevy Impala, so dirty, smelled like wet dog and cigarettes.  They put armor all over the grime...a nice touch to make the dirt shiny!  Upon picking us up from the airport they drove us to a bad part of town where they keep the cars, you have no choice but to take what they give you, if you dont you're stranded. 

Trying to make the best of the situation we took the car, which was about 10 years old, and proceeded to our destination.  There it leaked oil all over the driveway, wouldn't start on the first turn, but we decided to grin and bear it.  Well all untill we were fully packed up ready to go to our daughters wedding rehersal...the car was DEAD.  When we called to see they could get us a car, they swore at us, hung up on us 3 times, and the words this man said were unreal!  They finally said they would come get the car, we didn't want anything to do with this company anymore.

I'm writing this 7 days from the time they picked up the car.  We had rented the car for 1 week, and had it 2 days before it broke down.  They have given us the run around about charges, stating that we had to talk to customer service (this is the guy that swears at you) and then accounting, who is never there when you call.  NEVER EVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY.

They have made up excuses for why the car wouldn't start, (we have 3 mechanics in the family who looked at the car) and they are full of bologna.

Learn from our mistakes, we were 2 hours late for our daughters wedding rehersal, missed everything, and only by renting from Hertz in Peoria were we able to get there and get around for the duration of our trip. 

Pheonix car rental is so bad we even cancelled our credit card because the business was so sketchy!  We  thought they would put bogus charges on it, these people are con artists and totally unreliable!
