bought 37 in tv one year ago. It died. they sent part,told 24 to 48 hrs to get tech here, took 2 weeks.

couldnt not fix tv, sent bad part. suppose to replace tv, told 10 days.

no tv still, called, said oh no 10 days to 4 weeks. (lie)

rude supervisor, aske for refund to nuy new one, cant do that. asked for cheaper tv, cant do that. will send one when we find one.

almost 3 months still no tv

never buy polaroid again

I too went through the same with Polaroid, purchased 40 inch in feb 07, broke in Oct 07 was told part would be recieved in 24 to 48 hours, part never came, was told it was on back order would take 2 weeks, then was told 4 to 6 weeks, after that 6 week period ended, we were told we could exchange it, then within 15 mintues were told no we couldn't exchange it because those were on back order too, then we were told we could have a refund and this lady said she didn't undestand why we hadn't been offered a refund prior as it is their policy after 4 weeks if not solution is found to offer refund? I thought yeah why are we just hearing of this now after 2 months? I was worried we would ship our tv back to them and never hear anything else from them, but thankfully we did! They sent us a shipping label and we had to box it ourselves which luckly we were able to find a box big enough so we didn't have to spend 50-100 just to package it and Polaroid paid for the shipping and within 2 weeks of them having their crap back we recieved a refund check which actually cleared, lol Yes I worried the check would be no good too, but it was and thankfully our 3 month ordel is now over and we have a much better tv. I hope this information helps, just let them know you are not going away and call every day if you have too, I know it is a huge headache and frustrating, but in the long run I think you will end up with the resolution you want if you just keep hounding them for it.
