Polaroid 3 years and 16 days from purchase and warranty expires. 32 inch lcd has black screen. Sound is fine still. Polaroid knows of faulty product and refuses to repair at their expense. No recall to inform Internet

Purchased 32 inch LCD on Blackfriday of 2007 with the 2 year extended warranty on Nov 23rd from Walmart in Newport New, VA.  Upon getting new TV home found it to be broken and returned it on the Nov 24th to get a replacement and new extended warranty. Informed Polaroid that tv has black screen and warranty just ran out on Nov 24, 2010. Today is now December 10, 2010. Wants to charge me to send a replacement part that they have known to be defective with their product. I feel they had enough complaints whereas they should have done a recall and repaired the faulty equipment before total darkness of LCD screen. (model TLX-03210B)
