Portfolio Recovery Associates Reneged on a written offer after I made the payments Norfolk Virginia

Portfolio Recovery tried for a year to collect a debt that I did not owe. On a second collection they sent me a written offer, after I made the payments as agreed, they regened and said I would have to pay even more, which I refused to do.

In a recent letter to them I instructed them not to call me on the phone anymore, but to use letters or  emial. They called a few days later, harassing me and wanting more money.

Do not believe anything that they tell you and never let them have access to your checking account. They are endlessly persisant and harrassing.

You are not obiligated to answer the questions they ask you, don't give them any information other than your address.
