My husband and I went to the local branch to open a checking account w/ Regions Bank on Dec. 30, 2015 based on a promotion they were offering of a $200.00 bonus to be deposited to our account after 120 days.
It has been WELL OVER 120 days, and STILL NO money. ALL I'VE GOTTEN HAVE BEEN EXCUSES AND EMPTY APOLOGIES, and I am SICK of it. I've jumped through all the hoops they've asked me to, and fulfilled my end of the deal and FOR WHAT?????
Just like my husband said (and I totally agree)....IF they TRULY wanted to honor their end of the deal, as they CLAIM, then WHY NOT JUST DO IT, INSTEAD OF BLOWING SMOKE ABOUT IT????? JUST DO IT.
It is everyone's choice to do business with this JOKE of a bank that FLAT OUT LIES TO CUSTOMERS, but I must warn you.....PROCEED WITH CAUTION and do not believe anything they tell you.

Regions did the exact same thing to me
AUTHOR: Kandy - (United States)
SUBMITTED: Sunday, March 11, 2018
I also signed up for a checking account with Regions based upon the promise of the $200 reward on 12/1/2017. As of today, 3/11/2018, I still have nothing but lame excuses. To make it worse (as if that's possible), this bank denied a debit card dispute involving $338.94 to a business AND added OVER $200 in NSF fees on top of it. A complaint was filed with CFPB however, they do not do anything to assist in recovering the money.
If anyone at all has suggestions for recovering all the lost money from Regions, please reach out to me.
