RIGHTWAY AUTOMOTIVE LOCATED IN VILLA PARK IL. THEY HAVE A LOT OF LOCATIONS DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ANYONE OF THEM THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS BUT IS ALL THE GOVERNMENT FAULT THAT ALLOWED THEM TO DO THIS BULLSHIT TO PEOPLE. I WAS HAVING A PROBLEM WITH MY PREVIOUS CAR AND I NEEDED A CAR TO GET TO WORK BECAUSE THAT WAS THE ONLY WAY I COULD GET TO WORK. I WENT ON CRAIGSLIST TO FIND A CAR AND I RAN INTO THEM. I WENT IN THEY SAID IF I PUT 500 DOWN THEY COULD GET ME IN A CAR. THEY REALLY DIDN'T GIVE ME THE OPTION TO CHOOSE WHAT I WANTED AND I HAD TO TAKE WHAT THEY OFFERED ME. SO I WENT AHEAD GAVE THEM THE DOWN PAYMENT THEY REQUESTED AND SIGN THE PAPERS. THEY GAVE ME A BLACK 1999 MONTE CARLO FOR 14995 AND I HAD TO PAY IT BIWEEKLY. MY PAYMENT IS 154.00 EVERY TWO WEEKS. I BEEN MAKING ALL MY PAYMENTS BUT I AM NOT GOING TO LET THEM GET AWAY WITH MY MONEY LIKE THAT I WILL DO MY BEST TO FIND AWAY TO GET OUT OF THIS LOAN AND IT WON'T AFFECT MY CREDIT. I SEE A LOT OF PEOPLE ON HERE THAT REPORTED THEM TOO. WE WILL COME TOGETHER AND WE WILL ALL GET OUT OF THESE LOANS. I AM DOING MY BEST AND WE ARE GOING TO GET OUT OF THIS BULLSHIT LOANS WE ARE IN.

Was this sold to you as a "Classic car"? They cost more.

Classic cars tend to be sold for more than just cars.
The original Monte Carlo is a high-priced classic car now and if it was in mint condition and if a mechanic you trusted gave it the once over and didn't find anything wrong with it, you are just going to pay more.A LOT more than you expected and a LOT more than the car cost when it was new.
Maybe it had a special paint job or a performance engine?
NO YOU DID NOT HAVE TO TAKE WHAT THEY OFFERED YOU!
$500 was probably what they paid for the car at an auction because that is how the used car business works. Then they try to get as much money back as they can before you run out of money and they send their repo guys to take it back and then they repaint it and sell it to some other victim.
YOU COULD HAVE SAVED YOUR CASH LIKE I DID AND THEN GONE AND BOUGHT A CAR OFF CRAIGSLIST LIKE I DID AND LOOKED UNDER THE HOOD AND TEST DROVE IT AND GOT A DEAL!
I had to replace the radiator and the brakes and will have to tune the motor but for a 1991 luxury car that otherwise runs smooth as silk, and I only paid $500 for it, YOU GOT TO BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU BUY!
I ONLY BOUGHT FROM MY LOCAL CRAIGSLIST FROM A PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL WHO WAS LOCATED IN THE SAME TOWN AS ME AND WAS AN ESTABLISHED RESIDENT.
MOST USED CAR LOTS ARE RIP-OFFS, LIARS,SCAMS AND CHEATS AND THEY ADVERTISE ON CRAIGSLIST TOO.,
FOR $1000 more, I could have bought a slightly newer model of car than the one I got and told them I would come in two days to check out that car cash in hand.
Apparently they didn't believe me because I showed up cash in hand and they had already had one of their flunkies drive the car to auction in San Antonio,Texas and the transmission had gone out in it. The guy who told me was drunk and working on the fourth beer in the six-pack or I would have never gotten the truth out of him. In fact, once I actually went down there, I saw high school kids working without supervision, homeless guys drinking beer and shorting out electronics parts and a couple of what appeared to be undocumented aliens jazzing up a transmission that should have been pulled and rebuilt....
EVERYBODY was drinking beer. I left.
They went broke shortly thereafter.
DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM A USED CAR LOT UNLESS YOU KNOW YOUR BLUE BOOK PRICES, YOU HAVE A FRIEND WHO IS A MECHANIC AND KNOWS WHAT TO LOOK FOR TO MAKE SURE THE CAR IS AS IT IS REPRESENTED.
