Riverside Audi Stay Away - Won't Pay-off My Trade-in to Audi Finance 4 months after I bought a car West New York New Jersey

Please beware, Do not purchase a car from Riverside Audi in NJ, THEY ARE A RIP-OFF. Or at the least, do not trade-in a car that needs to be payed off.

I purchased a certified used car from Riverside Audi on March 18, 2009. Everything went well with the purchase. I signed the contracts and even asked the sales manager if my trade-in would be payed off in a timely manor and he assured me, "This is what we do for a living, don't worry". Well, 2 months later I was still getting bills for payments. I called Audi Finance only to find out the car was never payed off. To this day, 4 months later in July, my trade-in has still not been payed off to Audi Financial services, now VW finance.

I have placed call after call to speak to the Controller (bill payer), the General Manager or even the owner. Every time I am told "Their busy in meetings, I can take a message". I even called every 30 min for a whole day. I was told that the person you really need to speak to is the controller, but she never picks up or returns calls, I was appalled. I only once spoke to the general manager who told me that the payment was sent and she'll have to call the bank to see what happened.

I have since found out that the Controller and the General manager was fired and this was a month ago. Still no call backs. I have been in contact with AUDI headquarters who I placed a complaint with but they keep calling every few days saying we don't have a resolution but were working on getting your trade-in car payed.
