The Country is going thru financial crisis and these people are taking advantage of it! I am 2 months late of a payment..I have been trying to make partial payments for 2 months and Jimmy Lopez says i cant do that.. he will not accept partial payments. By now my debt has increased with all types of late fees and penalties...I am owing them 1200.. I called in and spoke to a representative .. cant remember her name well.. Jari or jenny.. I explained to her that i can make a payment of 250 starting today and every week there after of the same amount...and she said she can take a payment of 300 and then 250 every week after that..but that i should get the payment in before 12:30 their time... so i had an hour to come up with 50$ and I did.. I was extremely relieved because Jimmy Lopez had been calling me about 5 to 10 times a day every day.. and he was not trying to work with me.. he only wanted things his way.. so I was very relieved .. and i went made the payment on time and called in to let her know the western union ref #.. and Jimmy Lopez answered and he said.. he wasnt gonna accept my partial payment.. ! so i said thats not right .. someone else made arrangements with me and now u are not holding your part of the agreement? i wanna speak with your boss.. and Jimmy Lopez said he doesnt have a boss...i said that cant be true and he said make the payment lady because its up to me that your car will be repossesed! and have a great day   hahahhaah!  I was completely crushed.. so now i am on a mission trying to find out who is in charge and can handle JIMMY LOPEZ... this is nt correct behavior..

NO FINANCIAL INSTITUTION HAS TO EXTEND OR LOWER YOUR PAYMENTS...

AUTHOR: Ken - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, October 08, 2011

even if you're having financial difficulties. This can't even be part of their decision making as other dead beats would try to take advantage. I suspect that unless you can immediately get your account current, they WILL repo your car.It is, after all, their property until you FULLY pay for it...you were aware of this weren't you?

They ARE within their rights and to them you just appear to be ANOTHER dead-beat.

"The Country is going thru financial crisis and these people are taking advantage of it!"
How, exactly are "these people" taking advantage of the financial crisis? Would they act differently if the economy was good?.....not too likely.

All your excuses and disclaimers are attempts to hide the fact, that you aren't, for WHATEVER REASON, making your payments on time.

Ummm

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

So you get a loan to finance a car.  As part of that agreement you agree to make your payments at a certain time and for a certain amount.  Then even though there was nothing in the agreement that says you don't have to make your full payment if you run into problems, it is their fault you are in this situation because they are trying to hold you to this agreement.

You do see the problem with that line of thought..right?

Also, it seemed like it was a struggle for you to come up with an extra $50.  So one has to wonder if you were trying to make partial payments for 2 months, where did THAT money go?
