I started with SpeedMaxPC to repair a small issue I was having.  This did not resolve the issue. I was convinced to allow "Advanced Technical Support" to take over my computer by remote access.  After they alleged via the chat box that all had been repaired and I could access my computer, I went in only to find that my business distribution lists were missing, my "sent mail" was obliterated and basically my entire Outlook had been raided.  I called and asked to speak in person to the technician who had been " helping me".  The first person with whom I spoke said that he would "walk over" and ask him to call me.  When I didn't get a call, I called again.  This person said they couldn't connect me because he was in India. After numerous phone calls and their pleading that they would help me, and they would put me in touch with a higher level tech who would resolve my problem, 36 hours later I was still in the same dire straits.  I am convinced that my mailing lists were stolen.  These people are incompetent technicians, liars and thieves. 

I called the Advance Technical Support phone number 800-978-4501, and told them I wanted my money back.  They referred me to their billing department:  855-220-7905.  The gentleman with whom I spoke was very accommodating, said he could refund the money for the SpeedMaxPc, but he had no access to the Advance Technical Support files.  He suggested that I go through my C/C company which I have done.  He tried to tell me that all their employees have had background checks and were based in FL.  I asked if they did background checks for their employees in India.  He seemed very surprised to learn that I had been outsourced to India.

As expected, now my credit has been compromised

Tonight I received a call re: one of my credit cards.  As mentioned before, a file titled " travel reservations" was missing and unable to be retrieved after SafeCart was able to access my computer. Today, I was victimized through information gained as the SafeCart personnel commandeered my PC and stole sensitive data. Chase Bank called to say that my United Visa card had fraudulent activity.  I am not surprised in the least.  Krista, and I don't believe that is your name, this is just a canned response that SafeCart sends out.....if you really were concerned about the credibility of your company, you might have picked up the phone and called me.  I will continue to warn consumers about the lying, thieving, untrustworthy company called SafeCart.
