SAR & Associates Scam Letter Sent for Collection Plantation Florida

SAR & Associates sent me a letter in the mail stating that I owed a debt that they purchased from a payday lender that I defaulted on in 2012. The amount allegedly is $1450.00. I called and spoke to a "Brian Cullen" he had all of my info and wanted to make a speedy deal over the phone. To my surprise (not really) he offered to settle right then and there for $450.00 !! What a deal! I told him I would call back after checking him and his company out. He seemed irritated about that but went along with it. I took 5 minutes and boom! I see all these people on here with the same leter for the same amount with the same settlement offer. 

     So I called them back like I promised and said "you didn't check out" sorry. He got pissed and said this will be on your record for 7 years blah blah blah. I said ok, and what else? He repeated "and it will be on the record for 7 years" and then I said ok and what else? He then said have a good day and hung up on me. Nice try but you must of been fishing for a moron. Sorry SAR looks like you and your associates got skunked! Anyone gets these letters please just throw them in the trash. This is obviously a scam and these jack offs have literally zero steam. Mind you the company they are trying to collect for is now defunct and out of business. So SAR and a*s-ociates go pound sand.
