ScoreSense Acquired my bank information third party through, I'm guessing, a credit application for financing a vehicle Dallas Texas

 I have been keeping the balance in my checking account at a minimum due to tax liens "gifted" to me after getting divorced, until I mitigate the situation. I filed a bankruptcy three years ago, but wanting to rebuild my credit, I opened a secured card through my credit union and subscribed to Credit Karmas free app, so I could keep an eye on my score and get suggestions on how to improve it (I must say I am thoroughly impressed with their service). I needed to purchase a vehicle and was looking for a lender to finance me with less than stellar credit. I'm guessing that ScoreSense got my bank information through third-party-passive authorization protected by an obscured terms and conditions statement boilerplated unconscionably close to a the SUBMIT button required to process my request. The first time I consciously heard of their business was when I saw the preauthorized payment on my checking statement. I called their number and after a long winded last attempt to keep me, was promised a refund. Then I received an email denying me the refund because I missed the seven day window in which to request it.
