Sear advertised buy two tires and get two tires free. I send my son to get four tires replaced. Sears rep replied that deal is no more available. Sears charged $867 to change four tires. My son paid for it. He came back and told me what happened. I checked Sears website they were still advertising buy two tires and get two tires free. This is unethical. I called them and I was put on hold. They do not want to respond as to why this was done by Sears.

Yes, they do have a Buy 2 Tires get 2 Free promotion...but if you read the next 2 lines they state

"WITH PURCHASE OF INSTALLATION, ROAD HAZARD & LIFETIME ALIGNMENT"

"VALID ON SELECT INSTOCK TIRES, ONLINE PRICE CANNOT BE COMBINED WITH BUY 2 GET 2 OFFER"

So did he purchase the Installation, Road Hazard and Lifetime Alignment?

Were the tires he bought ones of the "select" tires in this offer? Was he not using the Online Price?

If he totally met ALL of the qualifications then you have a valid complaint and probably should print out the Web Page and talk to their managers. Perhaps even go down there and show them the site.
