I called and cancelled my account with Skybeam over 2 months ago due to the terrible internet service.  I was told it would be 3 weeks before a representative could come by my house and pick up their equipment (which would have been on Aug 18th).

I did not get a call and no one came to my house.  I have received 2 more bills from this company for services I did not receive because my account was supposed to be closed and we have already changed ISPs.

I called today to find out why I still had the equipment and was told they could not come get it until October!  I said that was unacceptable and asked for a supervisor.  I was told no supervisor was available.  I informed the rep that I knew call centers have managers working with the shifts, but she maintained no one was available for me to talk to.

I called JAB Wireless, who owns Skybeam, and left a message for Jim Vaughn, the CEO and  Director, Co-Founder of JAB Wireless.

I am being billed for services not received and they expect me to store their equipment until they have time to get it!  Deplorable business practices!!

Why must I go Online?

AUTHOR: Tabitha - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, August 29, 2011

Why is it that no one at your call center can take care of my issue?  I have seen the other reports against your company and do not believe that filling out your online form will get me any resolution.  The RipOff Report page is a place for companies to resolve issues with consumers and to let other consumers know how you treat your existing customers.

I expect that someone in your office can very easily remedy my account and retrieve my equipment, yet I'm asked to go online and fill out a form that apparently doesn't get customers anywhere but more frustrated.

Instead of making the customer jump through hoops to fix a problem you created, have your manager call me so this issue can be resolved.
