When you put your personal telephone number anywhere on the internet, this is what happens when the Nigerian scamsters get hold of your phone numbers

THIS IS A CLASSIC NIGERIAN INTERNET SCAM.

They will usually e-mail you a deal too good to be true where they will ask you your name, your telephone, your physical address. etc. and promise you anything to try and get your personal identity information. Once they get it, well, you see what happens.

Try and get the telephone number on the caller id. and turn it over to your phone company's security and to your local law enforcement agency along with the threats that are being made to you. THIS IS ILLEGAL.
THE SCAM THESE PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO RUN ON YOU IS ILLEGAL!
Next, I would recommend that you get an UNLISTED,UNPUBLISHED phone number and DO NOT PUT IT ON THE INTERNET FOR ANY REASON!

BE CAREFUL WHEN RESPONDING TO AN EMPLOYMENT AD ONLINE!
I have encountered Nigerian scamsters who have pretended to be employers but just wanted to use my resume to steal my identity and who knows what else. I only send a letter of interest GENERALLY outlining my credentials and providing NOTHING specific with my e-mail address as the ONLY point of contact!

Nigerian scam artists also set up fake webpages to try and get your financial and personal information.

I DO NOT PUT ANY OF MY PERSONAL OR FINANCIAL INFORMATION ON THE INTERNET AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU!

You could also put an answering machine on your phone or route all of your calls to voice mail but more than likely your Nigerian scamster has sold your phone number and other data to others and you will be getting the calls from hell for a very long time!

IF SOMETHING IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE --IT PROBABLY ISN'T.
