State Farm Insurance 30 Year Loyal Customer gets Cancelled and in risk of losing home! Marion Ohio

My husband and I are 30 year loyal customers of State Farm. We have used them for home, auto and life.  Three months ago we recieved a letter of cancelation for our home insurance.  The reasons stated were a water backup claim in 2011 for approximately 3,500.00 and in 2012 a claim for 815.00 for a golf ball that was hit by my husband on the golf course that hit a car.  This is it our claim history with the exception of a claim filed in 1992 for approx. 5000.00 for a sewer back up.  The worse part is my husband went to the agents office in 2012 and ask if the golf ball that hit the car was a car insurance claim and was told no it was homeowners and he would take care of it no worries.  My husband asked if it could make our rate go up and was assured by the agent that we were long standing customers and it not an issue.  Well one year later when premium came due we were dropped.  Now i have gone to every company there is and no one will insure us as he are deemed high risk!  As we carry a mortgage we must be insured!  So we were directed to Fair Act Plan.  What a joke, our 850.00 premium a year has now gone to 4000.00 ayear.  Our mortgage payment went up 500.00 per month as we pay through escrow.  I was laid off from my job this last year, and we are a one income family!  We are now being forced to consider selling our home as this increase is outrageous!  This is all over a 815.00 claim that we were advised to file by their licensed agent.  I am now told it was the 2 claims in 2 years!  We had no clue or we would have paid the 800 bucks ourselves!!  We have begged State Farm to listen and work with us as we are not high risk people! They simply refuse!  WE are now in risk of losing our home!  State Farm is NOT a good neighbor and they allow incompetent people to work for them!  WE are so sad that a company we have been with for 30 plus years would do this to us!
