I received an offer thru the mail for a $29.95 maintenance check.  I needed a maintenance check for this season and decided to give them a call to save money this year.  My "Goodman" AC was working  just fine and the Electric bill was always under $48.00.  I couldn,t complain at all.  I called this Technical Services made an appt.for the next day.

Two of the business salesman  came before the technicians. One of the men came into the house and began to fill out a work order while the other inspected my AC Unit.  The man doing the checking came into the house with a sad look and said I needed a new Unit and asked me and the other guy to come see for ourselves the frozen compressor and pipes.
He said he just happened to have an available unit in  the warehouse and he would call his tech to install it right away.  The $29.95 maint. check turned out to cast me $6540.00.  This took  approximately 30 min.  These two men were pros.  Never thought I would get hoodwincked.

Technical Services fo Cape Coral on Ripping me off.

AUTHOR: Nita - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, May 12, 2012

I would like to go back to the beginning and try to make it clear to the readers of this report what really happened.  Technical Services sent me a flyer offering AC maintenance for new customers for the amount of $29.95.  Which is about right for all AC Companies seeking new customers. I thought I would give them a try and called for an appt.  Thed woman who answered said they had techs in my community and would send them to see you that same afternoon.  Shortly later the woman called back and asked if she could schedule for the next day.  I said yes.  The next day they came but not the techs instead it was Mike and a guy named Miller.  Said they would check the my AC Unit.

Mike went out to check and while he did that Miller sat and chatted socially with me and mentioned to me that his wife has died.  Of course being a widow I sympathized with  him.  He had me totally distracted as to the immediate reason why they were here.  The were here to rip-me-off.  I didn't realize this until after the bad deed was done.  Another thing with the FPL rebate why isn't the  bottom  line of the cost of the AC installation  lesser?  I want an explation  Mike.  I need my money as
much as you do.  The only problem is that I am a 82 year old widow on a very fixed income and  the $500.00 for the next twelve months was more than my income would allow.  Mike you are not trustworthy.  I shall update my report until you Mike right the wrong you did me.

Thank all of you that are reading this report of mine.  I need your support and my money.

What I expected and what Technical Services promised in their flyer was simply maintenance and not to look for something that wasn't there.  And that is exactly what I expected and nothing more.  I did some research on the net and found to what extent AC people will do to fatten the bottom  line. " They will undoubtedly cause a problem."  Disgusting isn 't it.  Another thing they knew was how old I was and how financially stable I was therefore Technical Services had no problem setting up payment  thru Wells Fargo with no hesitation from the Bank.   Another thing I might add is that I live in  a 55 and older Park  .

Even though the Park is gated the service people are allowed to roam about and check out their next victim.  Another thing,  I was brought up to take care of one's property and to waste not so as to want not and that is how I live.  I take good care of my property.  Thank you all for reading my report.  This is all until I remember something I missed.
