My bank account was compromised back in August of 2011 but I was in the process of moving and wasn't able to close my account at that time. I noticed that for the next 2 months the same charge from the same person had been debited from my account. I went to my bank and had to close my account and open a new account. The charges stopped but then I got harrassing phone calls and they even sent me a package to my old address which in turn came to my new address now and I refused it. I looked at my bank account yesterday and now on my "new" bank account have the same charges from the same person starting again. Ted Logan from "Platinum Roadside Assistance". I don't have an address and I don't have a working phone number. When I attempted to return his calls, the number was either not a working number of they just didn't answer. The first number was : 877-881-5893 and the second number was a 317 number that when I googled it just said Indianapolis, IN. I live in Florida, I don't know this person or the numbers they are calling from, and the only way that I can figure they have my information is from applying for a pay-day loan several months ago, or from filling out job applications online, or from paying bills online. I have already contacted my bank and they are investigating this matter. I am also looking into a website called "Lifelock" and if I have to I will go to the police. I want this to stop, it is very frustrating, and such a hassle every time I have to change everything. People like this make a fun past time (computer), and conenience, a thing not to be.
