Terminix purchased the termite control company that I had a termite protection plan.  Terminix then proceeded to raise my yearly rates by 300% in the last ten years.  Not even health care has shot up that fast. Terminix knows they have you in a bind because it is very expensive to get a new initial termite treatment.   Once you pay for a new termite treatment, you can get very reasonable yearly rates from other companies.  I am looking for an attorney that will file a class action lawsuit against Terminax.

Are you under contract?

AUTHOR: coast - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, June 14, 2015

Are they refusing to honor the terms of a current contract?

You cannot sue a company for a rate increase unless they are refusing to honor the terms of a current contract. The price of the service from another provider has no relevance.
