I purchased a vehicle approximately 8 months ago from a local dealer. They set my loan up through United Auto Credit. Wow, remind me to send the dealer a thank you card. This people are the worst people I have ever dealt with in my life. They call if you are one day past due. They have called my work, my home, my cell and worst of all my deceased father. My poor mother got that phone call. When they called my mother they said that I was extremely past due (which I was only two days past due) and that "I NEEDED TO MAKE A CHOICE". My poor mother was scared that my car was going to get repossessed because that's how they made it sound to her. When I called back the gentleman that I usually deal with was "not there". So I left a message for him to all. He never did. Two days later they were back at it again. I explained to them that it is Friday, I'm five days past due, which I realize and in three days I get paid and will clear the account up. Pedro told me that was unacceptable and that I need to borrow the money from one of my references. I told him I didn't know anyone to borrow the money from. He then proceeded to read off references of people that I supposedly had given them. Every name with the exception of my deceased father, I didn't even recognize. I then asked him to fax to me a copy of the references that I supposedly had given and he refused to do so saying "you don't make the rules". I asked him if he was making up names and he said no, but these people all say they know you. I kept telling him that I didn't know one single person and he must have the wrong list. He told me to hold on and he would go pull my file. He then proceeded to name more name of people that I had no idea who they are. He told me that either I needed to get one of my references to pay my payment or the car was going to be picked up. If this company thinks I'm done with them they are wrong. I'm calling the Governor's office here in Arizona on Monday and filing a complaint. I have never been treated like this in my life. I plead to everyone, don't go with them. They will make your life a living hell!
