I enrolled in the automatic withdrawal payments. My payment was due 06/08/2012, I received a confirmation email (which I have a copy of) stating that the payment was withdrawn on 06/08/2012 at 12:10am. I checked my car note account everyday to make sure the payment was made & it said it was. On 06/19/2012, I received a phone call stating that my account had inefficient funds on 06/08/2012 & my note was 10 days past due!! Now my question is how is that possible when I received a confirmation email saying it was paid on the day it was due? So now I have to come up with another $305.53 because these people don't know how to do their job correctly!! And that excuse "it takes a couple of days to withdraw the money"is a lie because if it did you wouldn't send a confirmation email on the day it's DUE and say the payment had been made!!!! I will be trading that car in by the end of the year because I've been having problems with them since I've had the car and I'm tired of their nonsense!!!!

Am I One in a Million?

AUTHOR: Rachel - ()

POSTED: Monday, October 07, 2013

I had a loan with UACC for 4 years. And I must admit that I had to go thru them because my credit history was not up to par. I dealt with the staff many times and never had a problem.  I called them every month to pay with my card and later I enrolled in the Automated Debit Payment - and not once did I get double dipped.  The amount stated was what was withdrawn and yes, I would get a confirmation on the 4th of every month that the money was taken from my account.  Even though it showed the 1st 3 days that it was out - it was actually on hold and then MY bank would remove the hold and UACC would withdraw it - the process did take up to 10 days.  But just because the money was in my account - it did not mean I could go shopping with it.  I knew that money was not MINE anymore and I had to make sure I had enough funds in my account to cover my other expenditures.  Also, after 3 years with my vehicle, I had to replace the motor which was very expensive and I was lost.  UACC did allow me 1deferred payment plus they paid the balance of the bill and added it to my loan.  Granted, I had to repay them and it did add more interest but at least I had a running vehicle.  So all in all, it was not a bad experience for me.  I believe communication is the key here.

UACC is terrible.

This person that posted about bank account anc checking it. I believe you and they have tried to get 2 payments from me before as well and it was a battle with them and I even got a notice showing last payment and when next one due but still got calls and they said that they don't know when that was sent so I told them that is was such and such date and said well that is not accurate. we just recently ended up selling truck because was tired of it and now after 2 months won't release title and said they did then didn't and we owe more money and oh no it has been waived but takes 1-2 months, others say 24-72 hrs and others 5-7 days. etc. The truck is no longer in our hands however the buyer still owes us money and won't pay until pink slip. We all are getting pissed off at UACC. They are a** holes and wished they can treat customers like they should be treated because without us they wouldn't be in business. Hope that it is all working out for you as it hasn't been easy on us. we bought vechile in 6-2010 And it is paid off and still having issues. can't wait to be done with this. I filled a complaint with BBB but Uacc isn' part of BBB however they can try to help however UACC doesn't respond to every compliant through BBB. Wishing you luck and God Bless.

Time To Get Your Stories Straight

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, June 22, 2012

In rebuts 2 and 4 you referenced this payment coming from a checking or other BANK account. Then in your last posting you say the money was to come from a debt card which was not from a bank. You further indicated you've had problems with them in the past...problems because you have a history of not paying on time? Whatever the case may be, they submitted the debit on time and not early. At the precise time the debit was presented for payment, there was not enough money to cover it. You say yes there was enough money to cover it. Ok, let's assume you are 100% correct...then the problem is with the issuer of the debit card! If this SUBPRIME loan company had submitted the debit several days early, absolutely you have a case here. But they didn't as per your own information. So then, the problem, if everything is as you claim it it, is clearly and very obviously with the issuer of the debit card.

However, due to your changing story here it is impossible for anyone to help you. But you do make one thing perfectly clear, the loan company did exactly what it was supposed to do and as per the contract and that is to submit the debit on the CORRECT DAY. This is a SUBPRIME loan company which specializes in financing people who have a documented track record of not paying bills when due. You can b***h all you want about that statement woman, but that is a FACT. IT WOULD NOT SURPRISE ME one second if this is just another bogus report which is nothing more than some sorry plan of retribution because of their collection efforts. What gives you away AGAIN is you are so quick to blame them when anyone can see they submitted the debit ON TIME and not ONE DAY EARLY. For whatever reason that debit was not paid by the card issuer. If there was money in the account then your problem is VERY OBVIOUSLY with the issuer of the card. You have made several references to God in your postings.

I would highly suggest you check the Book to see what He says about pride, willingness to be open to take instruction and walking around in a world of contensiousness. And by the way, this is an OPEN SITE so if you just want someone to stroke you and tell you what you want to hear, then simply send e-mails to yourself!

Peace

AUTHOR: Chad - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, June 22, 2012

Peace, there. Okay, so from your response the bank statement will show the withdrawal. That's good. You can use that as a hammer on them. My "deliberately stupid" comment was directed to the inference that the confirmation email stating withdrawal was evidence of payment. As that isn't what you really meant, please accept my apology.

I wish you the best of luck getting another car! And Josey, up yours. You're probably the most useless "contributor" on the site. Even Karl occasionally posts something semi-witty or funny in his spam. You? Just worthless. Have a nice day!

You can ASSUME what YOU want!!!

AUTHOR: Janae1984 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, June 21, 2012

First off I don't think I need to put all MY business on here!!! I've said over & over what happened & how it happened!!! Second I WRITE DOWN every transaction that was made each time I spend, subtract the amount that had been spent from the previous balance & third I don't even have checks to write because the money came off a debit card not a bank debit card!!!! So no I didn't make any mistakes, it was a ripoff & I'm tired of dealing with companies like them and people like you!!!! Don't worry about commenting on my report because your advice IS NOT needed!!!! Now you can have a blessed day also!!!!!

You're Not Understanding The Point

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, June 21, 2012

Here's a very important point which I need to get across to you...otherwise you are doomed to more future problems.  You stated a second time that you "check your balance" daily.  How are you doing that?  Based solely on your wording, what I suspect you are doing is using the balance figure from the internet.  Lets take a look at two scenarios, using some made up figures.  In scenario #1 you check your balance on line on Monday and it says $700.  You write out a rent check for $600 and you send it off.  On Thursday you see the groceries need replentished and you're all excited about the new church training class, "Escape the Coming Night" and you plan on getting David Jeremiah's book, paper and pens.  You check the morning balance and it says $700.  You spend $150 on groceries and $50 on the book and supplies.  Unbeknownst to you, later that morning the bank processes the $600 check.  On Friday you check your balance and you find out the $150 and $50 debits have bounced.  How could this happen...the balance said $700 Thurday morning before the grocery trip?  Scenario #2...You look at YOUR RECORDS and see a balance of $700.  You write out check number 495 for $600, enter it in YOUR RECORDS and subtract that amount from the $700 which leaves you with a balance of just $100.  On Thursday, you realize you are getting low on groceries and you need the study materials.  You check YOUR RECORDS and see the balance is just $100.  You then decide church training is more important so you buy those materials and buy just enough groceries to tide you over until Friday's direct deposit pay day.  You write in YOUR RECORDS $50 for the materials, subtract it right then and there and see your balance is now $50.  You then buy $15 worth of food, write it in YOUR RECORDS, subtract it and obtain a balance of $35 until Friday and better yet, NO OVERDRAFT FEES!!!

Based on your wording, again I would just about bet you are NOT keeping a check register, entering the items as per scenario #2 and keeping a running balance.  Instead, you are looking at the on-line balance which IS NOT accurate.  May I strongly suggest you start doing this TODAY?  You will never, ever have an overdraft when you keep records as described above.

There is no scam or ripoff here.  Just a failure on your part to keep the most accurate records possible, by keeping a running total in your own records everytime you use the card or write a check.  If you start TODAY keeping excellent records of your banking activity, then you will never, ever get an overdraft fee unless you decide you want one by ignoring your own figures!  I think you're much too smart to do that.  So why not start that record keeping today???

SHALOM

So..

AUTHOR: Chad - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, June 21, 2012

Does your bank account show the amount withdrawn? If so, that should be a real simple fix.

All the confirmation email does is tell you they're pulling the money. It is NOT a confirmation of funds received. So either the company is trying to double-bill you (easily provable and fixable with your bank statement showing the withdrawal) or you are being deliberately stupid as to what the email confirmation means to try and avoid paying. Which is it?

What You're Saying Is...

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 20, 2012

Right before the automatic debit hit the bank, how much money did you have in the account according to your CHECK REGISTER or the bank book you use to list every transaction and do the subtraction right then and there? You gave yourself away when you did not say "my check register said I had "x" number of dollars. In fact, you didn't have the slightest clue as to how much was in your account because you do not keep a check register. How do you know the bank didn't blow it? You don't and you can't determine that. I applaud you on being so diligent as to check your car loan account regularly. However, you need to apply that diligence to keeping contemporaneous records of your checking account...writing down every check or card usage and doing the subtraction right then and there. You will then have the most accurate total known to man.
