I found this web sight so I could search a VIN number, after initially putting in the VIN the web sight gave the indication that they had information available but I would need to pay a fee of $2.95 to access the report. I provided my information to allow for payment, the sight uses https encryption so I felt comfortable. After making my payment, the sight said the VIN was invalid and no more information was available. A welcome email was sent to me but I left it sitting in my inbox as I found little more use to their site since they had no information about that VIN. At the end of the week, Friday night (of course after the banks are closed and I cannot contest the charges) I see a $29.95 hold on some of the funds in my bank. At this point I cannot even see why funds are on hold. I cannot dispute it because I get no live person from my bank until Monday morning. On Sunday evening the funds clear my bank. At this point I can see who my bank paid. I did not authorize this charge, I try to call this company and of course they are not available to discuss this matter with until Monday also. I cannot even determine which state they operate from so I can file a report with the attorney general.

d. Fees, Refunds & Fraud
You Selected a "Special Price" Including VIP Trial. You agree to pay a $2.95 (USD) plus applicable sales tax according to your card issuer agreement. The special price of $2.95 is offered to you at a discount of over 90% of the normal per member charge. The membership fee will then be broken down into two easy payments of $29.95 plus tax where applicable and will be charged/debited to the credit/debit card you enter today after your 7-day trial and then one last time automatically charged/debited 30 days later. e. Subscription Services, Automatic Renewal, Trial
i. Payment
In the event you choose to subscribe to the services offered on the Site, your subscription will continue for a 60 day period you select during registration (the "Term").
ii. Termination, Trial
If you do not notify us that you want to cancel your subscription as described above, the then-applicable 2 easy payment schedules for your subscription will be billed automatically to the credit card you designated during the registration process (or subsequently changed).
During the trial portion of your subscription (if any), you may cancel your subscription at any time and not be billed by contacting our Customer Care Team. When you cancel automatic renewal on your subscription, your subscription will continue through the rest of the current period. At the end of that period, your subscription will not renew automatically, and you will lose the benefits of the subscription. You are not entitled to refunds for previous months that have already been charged as services have been rendered and costs have been incurred by us.
Please note:
Upon the expiration of your trial (if any), your credit card will be billed the applicable subscription fee and your paid subscription will commence. You will not receive a refund or reimbursement of your subscription fee after your trial period has ended.
