I like many others ordered a product through Urban Nutrition. I NEVER received anything from this company called Wellness Watchers. I did not know anything about them until all of a sudden there is a $59 charge to my card. There is no way to call this company and after several emails, I finally got a response from them saying that they sent me a 14 day trial that included instructions on how to cancel.

I have filed a complaint with my credit card and am waiting for a resolution. I have enjoyed the product that I got through Urban Nutrition, but am considering not ordering from them again as I will not support a company that does business with a company like this.

I filed a report with my credit card company. They went through the order process online through Urban Nutrition and found that there was no disclaimer listed that idicated you were accepting an additional product. I GOT MY MONEY BACK!!! fight back. Don't allow them to do this and get away with it.

It is correct that Nanci did place an order with Urban Nutrition along with that order she had selected an option for a Insta Shipping Rebate and a 14 day free trial membership to the website of WellnessWatchersMD.

On the offer there was an approximately a 2" square with the word "yes" and to the left and right of that box it stated that by clicking here you agree to a 14 day trial and if not cancelled within the 14 days you will be charge a one time membership to WellnessWatchersMD.com and also informed the consumer to add our company to their safe list. In order for our company to have received the order the consumer needed to actually click onto the box otherwise the order would not have been fulfilled. On 06-16-08 we had sent Nanci two notification emails to the email address supplied during her order. The first email contained a welcome letter confirming the order,terms and conditions, our contact address, email and phone number and how to obtain the shipping rebate and the 2nd email also advised the customer the terms and conditions of the order and phone number but most importantly notified what the username and password is. Besides sending the customer two emails we also sent a hardcopy letter to the customer to the mailing address that was supplied for the order. But we don't just stop there. We call each and every customer as a courtesy and a follow up to see if the need any assistance setting them ups for their personal profile assessment, how to nativgate the website and to take full advantage of our archive articles at no additional charge.

Along with tips of the day, ask the doc segments. We had tried contacting this customer via phone several times on 06-27-08 at 10:31am, 11:49am and 12:05pm eastern time each time the line was busy. The 14 day trial ended on 06-30-08 and on 07-01-08 we had charged the member the one time membership of $59. for unlimited access to the website for one year. On 07-1-08 we received an email from Nanci requesting the membership be cancelled. Unfortunately since the contact was not made until after the membership expired the charge occured and she was reminded of the terms and conditions. Also on the electronic credit card receipt that was provided by Urban Nutrition indicates that the customer did enroll into our membership. So we truly believe that we have done everything we could to provide the customer with all of the information that was needed at the time of their order and there after. We had also refunded the customer in full on 07-08-08 as a courtesy.
