Some company called Zybertour Inc. has charged my credit card $417.00 on 06/11/2002. Every time I call the company to find out WHAT this charge is, they tell me someone will call me back within 24 hours. No one ever calls me back.

They keep asking me if I ordered a credit package or a vacation package from Zybertour, but I've NEVER heard of them!! They keep saying they will call me back with my "voice recorded confirmation" of the $417.00 charge, but they NEVER call me back.

I have been calling them for two weeks now. The last time I called, I practically got hostile, insisting that a manager or SOMEONE assist me NOW and that I wouldn't wait for anyone to call me back "in 24 hours" because so far, no one ever had. I never get anyone on that phone who would help me.

I think I have fallen victim to some credit card fraud or something. I know this company does not have a voice recording of ME in their logs, and I want my money back on my credit card. I never ordered ANYTHING from this company.

Call your credit card company...

AUTHOR: anti - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, July 09, 2002

Dispute the charges as fraudulent. It seems they do not have the slightest idea why they charged you , so I do not think so they can provide ANY proof to your credit card company that you are responsible in any way for this charge.

To get more information about this shady ex-company (there are rumors, they are no longer in business)call:

Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Service, Seller of Travel Division, 1-850-410-3805

Dispute the charge NOW!

Emily,

Dispute the charge with your credit card company ASAP. You have to do it within a timeframe - 30 days or 60 days or something like that - so you should do it today, if possible (since it's already 7/9 and the charge was made on 6/11).

The credit card company will investigate the charge & the company will have to provide proof that you made the purchase. If they can't, you won't be responsible for it. I believe they have to respond within a particular timeframe, as well, so they can't give the credit card company the same run-around they've been giving you.

Best of luck...
