On January 26th 2025 my Chime Credit Card was stolen and used without my authorization. They spent $537.00. I called Chime customer support the next morning to report it and file a claim. The credit card has a Visa Zero Liability protection policy. Chime denied my claim and refused to replace the money. I even filed a police report. I have contacted the CEO and have had no response. The security team refuses to take calls from customers. The representatives who I have been speaking to barely speak English. Stride Bank is the issuer of the Chime card and I contacted them too and I spoke to the rudest customer service rep ever. All I want is my money back. I have called and called and they just continue to make excuses.

First of all I dont think you should be calling people deadbeats when you clearly dont have a clue about the person. The reason most people use these Fin Techs is because they tout themselves as being so GREAT for the consumer. The claim to charge fewer fees and provide BETTER cusomer service than a bank. I was a new user of Chime and I fell for the scam. I'm sure you have too, or do you have inside information that gives you the upper hand? But thank you for your comments but keep the name calling to your self!

Why people open accounts with these scammy "fintech" companies instead of just going to a local bank or credit union is beyond me. About the only reason to use them is if you are blacklisted on Chexsystems for being a deadbeat. So the customer service is about what you'd expect from a bank who makes its money taking advantage of deadbeats.
