My husband and I had just had an amazing vacation and we were feeling great at the airport when we saw the beautiful selection at the Colombian Emeralds store. I'd seen a few of these in the Caribbean so didn't think it would be an untrustworthy place to buy from.
We selected gorgeous natural, untreated diamond studs and paid a fair price for them. I had checked back to see if I could return them, as something was telling me something wasn't right... but ended up failing to follow through and got busy. I just had them sent out to IGI and found they're fracture filled and basically worth 1/10th what we paid for them.

If you think they are "beautiful" and you paid what you felt was a "fair price", what's the big deal if they have inclusions? You bought diamonds from a store in a foreign airport. Did you really think they wouldn't be overpriced? Diamonds are a consumer product, not an investment. They are worth very little on the secondary market.
And yes, natural diamonds can have fractures and inclusions. If you don't want those, buy a lab diamond. I doubt you could ever even see them on a 0.7ct stone.
