`Ever Bank is offering a 5 year CD based on commodity growth. The CD is offered for 5 years with no interest paid to the investor. The increase in revenue would be through gains from commodities. Here LIES the problem. The commodities that Ever Bank claims to be investing is Gold, Sugar, Copper and Oil. Great right very good commodities. The problem is that there isn't a way that you can track these commodities through the Stock Symbol which they displayed. 

So, if they invested your money into another Gold, sugar, cooper, oil account and profits; you would not be able to calculate what your earning will be and you would have tied your money up for five year with no increase in revenue. Allowing the bank to use your money for Their Profit and Their Gain. When calling the Bank No one can answer as to why these symols are not recognised in the stock market?

The response was That's just the way we do things. That is a very Poor response! There are many different countries and markets that offer these commodities. Some are volatile through rebels, terrorism etc., when your client is unable to check the growth of their stock... this leaves an open interpretation of revenue growth.

After reading the deceptive practices of Ever Bank which are listed on this site; I say two thumbs down.
