General Electric Refrigerator constantly does not work Nationwide
*Consumer Comment: Freezer
Do NOT buy a ny type of GE refrigerator. We have had to have the fan motor replaced 3-times within 4-years, 2x at our expense of $299 each time. GE says it is out of the 1-year warranty and will not cover. These GE appliances we found are built in Mexico, are poorly built and use even poorer parts. We are going to buy a freezer for our garage and will look at Whirlpool, Samsung or Maytag!

DO NOT, whatever you do, buy a Samsung! We made the mistake of buying a $2300.00 Samsung refrigerator. After 6 service calls within the first 10 months, it was replaced under warranty. The second one lasted about 6 months before it died and could not be repaired. Luckily, we bought an extended warranty, and Samsung bought the piece of junk back. Then it was up to us to get rid of it, as even Samsung did not want it back. It took us over a year to find someone who would even haul it off for parts. Every shop I offered it to said they did not want it as soon as I said it was a Samsung. We bought a Frigidaire and have been very pleased with it.
