We bought a 2022 Jayco North Point 382FLRB in April of 2022.  While inspecting the RV at the Camping World in Lake City, FL we questioned the rust on the frame.  It was in a grassy/dirt part of the lot and was assured that what we were seeing was from the ground.  We bought the RV while still looking for a truck and in the meantime, have it at an RV park.  Camping World delivered the RV and set it up.

First night we noticed several problems.  Both toilets wouldn't stop running after being flushed and water flooded out vents and passthroughs.  Both the kitchen sink and one of the bathroom sink faucets leaked.  Pendant lights were broken and warped.  The door had to be slammed just to shut it.  Because we didn't have a truck to take it back to Camping World, we had to pay $250 every time the tech came out for a repair.  Jayco first declined the replacement/repair of the toilets.  It took over four months and two techs (one came out and banged on it for hours to the point it no longer worked at all) to get them repaired, and Camping World refused to address the damage from the water that overflowed into the passthroughs.

The screws on the shock mount on the front door stripped out.  It was replaced with a different mechanism, but we now have two huge holes in our door that was not repaired.  Grey tank dump valve handles were bent and couldn't be opened and closed. Sensors for black tanks to close to pipe.  None of our tank sensors read right.  They fixed the master bath faucet but didn't put in the same color or style in a brand new RV so we had mismatched sink faucets.  Jayco denied our request to have the same faucets and we had to settle with the cheap chrome instead of the bronze that was there when we bought it.  We consistently had water leaking in the front of the RV and we couldn't get the techs to address it when they were here.  When they finally did, it turns out the water heater had been leaking for over a year.  When the tech took it out, not only was there white, black and blue mold, the water heater had an anomally.  The tech stated that the fitting on the water heater is something he had never seen Jayco use, no explaination.  The tech "cleaned" up the mold, rebuilt the wooden base, and reinstalled the water heater.  Jayco denied our request that the flooring be removed to check for mold damage under the floor of the pass through.  The water heater still leaks and Camping World Corporate Office is aware of this.  It has not been addressed again.  There are so many other issues like our black tank valves being installed backwards, etc...  Our biggest issue is the frame.

After one year of being here, the rust on the frame is so bad that the welds have broken.  The bolts that actually hold the body of the RV on the frame, are corroded.  Rivets along the slide outs are popping off.  We have addressed this with both Camping World and Jayco.  After TWO years of complaining about the frame, Camping World finally sent the tech out with a wire brush and spray paint.  After getting under the RV, the tech came back out and refused to touch it.  He claimed he would be responsible if this RV malfunctioned on the road.  This RV hasn't moved since the day it was delivered and after what the tech said, we may never be able to move it.  The bolts to the slideouts are corroded and we're not sure what's going to happen when we go to put them in.  So what was Camping Worlds and Jayco's response?   They've stopped answering emails and stopped all communication with us.  We purchased the extended warranty, and now we cant get any work done because Camping World won't honor the warranty.  We currently have a leak under the shower in the passthrough that Camping World knows about, and they aren't going to fix it.  We can't reach it.  So now we have a $120K investment that can't be moved and can't be sold.  We would have to sue Jayco (Thor Industries) in Indiana, and after reading the results of most cases, it seems the courts favor the corporate neglect than the consumer.  We live on a retirement income, we can't afford enough lawyers to fight their lawyers.  And for Jayco, I think that's the point.  They know what thier product is, and they know theres nothing people like us can do about it.
