Metro Appliance - Refrigerator Delivery Installer Damage not acceptable Joplin Missouri

Careful buying from Metro Appliance - we bought a NEW refrigerator (spending nearly $3k). Upon delivery, the installers dented the front of the door. When contacting Metro about the issue, they informed us they could replace the door by warranty by falsely claiming to mfg they recv’d from mfg being dented - it was dented when the installer rammed it into the corner of counter - we requested they either discount it as a dent/ding which it now was or come back and pick it up for refund as we did not have confidence that a door replacement would work well long term. Metro now says they only will retake it with a 30% restock fee since it’s used - lol, they delivered it this week & admitted they damaged it at that time. We didn’t buy a dent/ding appliance but now they think they can force us to accept one. So, be aware of Metro Appliance business practices unless you want to live with damaged items at full undamaged prices. We no longer believe anything anyone from Metro says & I will be sharing this review everywhere Metro prospective customers could possibly see.
