I have Windows 10 so seeing the WinWin program looked like the best way to go to transfer everything I have on my old computer, the one I'm using now, because it said,   "Zinstall WinWin transfers all of your stuff from your old computer to you new one: your programs, documents, music, pictures, favorite, emails, accounts, setting-and of course all of your files. Your new computer will feel just like the old one. Your old computer remains safe and unchanged, and nothing is erased from it."   and it said: "Zinstall is based on unique technology and experience. Unlike other, "file mover"-style products, it transfers the complete environment (although you can of course choose what to transfer, and doesn't harm the old or the new PC. Oh, and if you want to, you can select exactly what gets transferred."   I paid and additional $99 on top of the fifty something I pad for WinWin. They took over my computer and supposedly transferred everything over. It looked good but I discovered I'd purchased a computer without a webcam. So I had to delete everything and send the new computer back. I got another new computer and again paid the extra $99. to have the Zinstall technician move everything from the old laptop to the new laptop. It seemed to go fine. By this time I have over two hundred and fifty dollars invested in moving everything from the old, broken laptop to the newest laptop.   So, last night I began using the new laptop, assuming everything was just fine, and I discovered that none of my programs work. I get messages from all of them that I have to uninstall and reinstall my programs, whichever one I attempted to use since then I began checking programs. Then I discovered it didn't transfer any of the settings to my printers or scanners and it erased all of my backup information that I'd had for years in Carbonite so I have to restore thousands of files in Carbonite too. To say I'm angry would be downplaying how sick I am of purchasing products that don't work and how sick I am of Microsoft peddling things to me that don't work just because they have to constantly upgrade in order to continue making even more money than they already make.   Today, I'm stuck trying to figure out what to do now since I basically have no programs that work and I purchased and downloaded many of them from the Web so I have to see if I have serial numbers and download abilities for these programs, at least six or more hours of work, and I sitll won't have my computer working because then I have to try to figure out how to make my printers and scanners work on a wireless network, which they were doing just fine until Zinstall screwed them up. Do Not Buy This Program. It Does Not Do Anything Even Remotely Close To What it Advertises. I wrote the lines above because I'm going to post this on every complaint site I can find on the Web.
