Progressive Progressive Snapshot Delaware

This is nothing but a scam to try and force ridiculous premium increases on good drivers. I was offered an initial rate of $52 a month for full coverage, with Snapshot yielding a small discount. After three months of Snapshot, I had low mileage (thanks to the pandemic), no accidents or incidents, no tickets. I just got a notice that my monthly premiums will increase to more than $200. That is over 400% increase in premiums. With some research, Snapshot recorded numerous panic stops. There were no sudden stops. I realized the beeping I heard whenever I came to a stop sign or red light or in traffic was a strike against me.

The device was wrongly showing each stop as sudden or panic. I mean, there was no screeching of tires, no hard braking, nothing. It’s a scam. I am reporting Progressive to the State Insurance Commissioner - and switching insurance carriers. Flo is a bi*ch.
