Robert Wilson – Platinum Ridge Management hired me for $1,800 worth of custom lead lists, received the completed work, refused to pay, publicly made false fraud accusations to damage my reputation. Southampton New York

Robert Wilson, CEO of Platinum Ridge Management, LLC (Southampton, NY), contracted me to deliver two custom lead lists for his business for an agreed price of $1,800. The scope, format, and payment terms were confirmed before I began work.

I delivered both lists in full and on time, compiled through legitimate manual research from publicly available sources. Robert Wilson acknowledged receipt but then refused to pay.

After delivery, he gave one excuse after another to delay payment — claiming ACH payment had already been sent (not possible for foreign accounts), saying he was sick, blaming online transfer delays, claiming “no one gets paid seconds after delivery,” citing bookkeeper involvement, requesting invoice changes, claiming a “30-day U.S. law” for payment, saying PayPal was not working (despite paying $200 through it), and requesting alternative payment links. None resulted in payment.

Instead of resolving the matter privately, Robert Wilson posted false, defamatory comments on my LinkedIn post — accusing me of fraud, claiming the leads were “stolen” from LinkedIn, and demanding irrelevant proof of a Sales Navigator subscription. These statements were false, misleading, and damaging to my professional reputation.

LinkedIn does not “certify” lead lists or verify their origin in private disputes. My work complied with ethical standards and LinkedIn’s terms. I have full documentation of our agreement, delivery, and his acknowledgment.

As of today, Robert Wilson still owes me $1,800. This report is a warning to other freelancers, agencies, and service providers to require full payment upfront before working with Robert Wilson or Palatium Ridge Management, LLC.
