WFG National Title Insurance Fraudulent Lien on My Home for a Loan That Never Happened 3 Years Running Internet

In 2021, WFG National Title recorded a deed of trust on my home for a loan that was never closed or funded. The lender, Titan Mutual Lending, is now defunct. WFG admitted to recording the lien in error via a formal affidavit in 2021, but failed to record a reconveyance or remove the lien.

This lien has been actively blocking me from refinancing, accessing equity, or selling my property. Their response to this multi-year title defect? “You can close a new loan, and we’ll fix it later.” That’s not just negligent—it’s borderline fraudulent.
