21st Century Legal Services I ALMOST LOST MY HOME BECAUSE OF THESE PEOPLE... Rancho Cumamonga, California

In Dec. 2008 I started getting phone calls from a company called 21st Century Legal Services saiyng that they could lower my mortgage payments with a modification with a fixed 30 year 4% intrest rate.  I ignored them at first but they were pretty persistant so I decided that it couldnt hurt to let them proceed.

They told me not to pay any mortgage until this modification was completed and to write them 3 post dated checks for 895.00. They sent a lady to my house to get my paper work and the checks. Then they kept telling me that I had to send them the paper work again and again and again.

 Then imagine my surprise when in April I get a preforclosure notice from my mortgage company. I called my mortgage company and asked them what it was all about and explained the contract I had with 21st Century Legal Services and they told me that they had received 1 phone call from them in Jan. 2009 telling them they had been authorized to my information.

Then they hadnt heard from them again and they thought I had been scammed. They had already set a date to sell my house and being a single mother of three and no where to go I had to work very hard and very fast to stay in my home. But now my credit is ruined thanks to these people.
