Rick L. Thomas, owner of 5280 salsas, is an unethical as they come having left vendors unpaid to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars. He hides behind various LLCs when creating various food products. Places orders with vendors, collects on the invoices and does not pay for the product manufactured in his behalf. This is only one law suit against him and his nephew Chad Polhanus who now is operating Brand Upward Consulting a company who....laughingly advises individuals on bringing new products to the marketplace.
