I took my car to a local Aamco Transmissions on 2/10/2009, I spoke to the customer representative Mike. I explained to Mike that my car was shaking profusely and the RPMS were erratic. He said to take it to the shop. I agreed, on Valentine's Day Mike informed me that the car needed a couple of sensors and a tune-up the total including labor would be $684.37 I agreed.

During the first two weeks Mike explained that the wrong sensors came in and the new ones would arrive soon and always kept stalling and never gave me a date when the car would be ready. on 2/27/2009 I get a call from Mike, he says the factory alarm has been tripped and that they do not have the capabilities to disarm it due to OEM specifications and referred me to the local Mitsubishi Dealership so they can deactivate the alarm.

03/01/2009 I pay for a tow truck to tow the car to the dealership the service tech at the dealership states that my car is to old to have that kind of alarm that deactivates the fuel system. I have a 1991 Eagle Talon TSI, which is basically the early model of a Mitsubishi Eclipse. The service tech explained that those alarms were installed on the 1993 models and up. Not only that the computer module for my car had been damaged and there are only 2 new computers in the United States and the cost for each one would be $1,400 or more. I was charged a $105 fee for the diagnosis. Till today 3/26/09 the car is still at the dealership and this problem has not been fixed. I have two jobs and no transportation. I am currently seeking legal representation and have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General of Illinois. If all fails I will be going to a small claims court.

Beware of Aamco in Waukegan!!!!! Regret taking my car there!1
