I have been a customer of Aarons for over 10 years. This store in Homosassa is a joke. Every time I go into the store, which is about every 90 days I see new people. After over 4 years they have had like 6 managers. I closed my account and returned everything to this idiot manager the other day. He wanted to know why I was returning and what he could do to fix it. I told him it didnt matter he would be gone in two months anyways. I was promised by the manager before him would handle my service call, and of course he was gone (FIRED) when I called to follow up on my repair. I am not sure who manages the businesses here in Citrus but he or she is a bigger idiot than the managers they keep putting in this store. But on an interesting note my cousin tells me the same thing is going on in Crystal River? In todays market I would think keeping customers is important. I was told by one ex ast. manager that the store is failing and that is why they cant keep managers. Look in the mirror upper management. What do you see?

Luck dawg??? You work at Aarons??
I hear what you're say'n about how many managers stores go through. Wasn't there long, but was there long enough to see them come and go. Just like anywhere, when a person is treated like crap they leave. I've seen a GM get yelled at and talked down to by his boss but everyone got treated like that. We'd look at each other saying WTF?
These jokers that replaced the good guys come from crazy stupid places and as long as manager is hanging from their shirt, they get hired as manager trainees and as good managers either get fed up of being ridden hard and hung out to dry, quit or get fired, these clue darts get moved into their spots.
This happens over and over again and even after time, I still hear about it from friends at different stores. Time has gone by and changed but these actions haven't. The scary thing is these strong managers that are out the door, are the ones that have degrees, real managing experience, and make sure their people and customers are taken care of, while these inexperienced jokers, right out of high school, are put in their stores and told to swim.
Yeah, customers should be important but these idiots have no clue how to treat them. To keep the customer happy, the staff & store has to be happy. It doesnt happen a lot cause when things and morale get close, the same crap happens and the manager is gone. Its hard for upper management to see whats going on when they cant see everything or aren't getting whole pictures about what's up. When theres a malfunction who actually can say something? The pee-on (and that's a GM when you're talking about his boss and higher) or the guy who can take the paycheck out of your hand and the roof from over your head? Who do you think is going to get listened to? I know things were jacked up before and what I hear still is, so who knows what upper management sees.
I doubt the store is failing, people are always going to find easy ways to get stuff, but unless levels of management learn about treatment of people, theyre gonna keep loosing good managers and there isn't alot of them left. They need to figure out where the good ones are or went to, bring them into the light and let them pass the knowledge and know-how to the newbies rather than killing them off and letting these jokers take the wheel for a joy ride.

Aarons and service calls

They send out drivers for service calls. The drivers have no formal training in repairs of any kind.
Service calls always become a problem for the store. The manager would rather send out the drivers putting flyers all over the place then fix a customer thay already have.
Aarons is a scam.
