I authorized a $4.95 S/H payment for a free sample of Acai Nutraburst online mid-June (received in a week). One week later, on July 1st, company charged my card another $74.94! I called and was rudely informed by Customer Service rep that their policy clearly states you must cancel within 14 days or you are automatically 'signed up' for monthly shipments. The box to agree to Terms/Policies is already checked (default!) on their website so I missed the tiny-print link at the bottom of the page! I was told they charge a $25 restocking fee on all returns so only $49.94 would be credited back. I canceled their auto-ship and requested details on how to return the unopened bottles (the rep gave me address and instructions).

I filed a complaint through SoCal Better Business Bureau and the company's resolution was to say returns are not allowed...that the Customer Service rep made an "exception" in my case, but that wasn't going to be honored since their policy CLEARLY states no returns.
Nowhere on their site or in their 'flashing ad' does it state the trial period is for 14-days and you MUST call to cancel before that 14th day or you're automatically going to be shipped a $75 product every 30 days! That info is at the bottom of their site...a very, very small-print link to Terms & Policies (which is 3 pages long!)
The Customer Service rep was apparently located in the Mountain Time zone but led me to believe she was in California...said there was no supervisor for me to talk to and that the Service reps handle everything.
I definitely feel this company is a fly-by-night, back-alley company and hope no one else falls prey to their fraudulent, deceptive advertising techniques!
