Accent Energy; Con Edison Cheated me and false advertised Southlake And New York Texas and New York City

Con Edison NY sent out brochures from Accent Energy with the monthly bill. My mom is disabled and on a limited income so we thought it be a good idea to see what "the savings" were about. I asked both Con Ed and Accent Energy what kind of savings I could expect. I was told I'd save substantially on my "supply" of electricity. Well, it turns out that my mom is paying about 1/3 more on her bill. I didn't inspect her bill until recently and called Con Ed to ask about the savings i was supposed to receive.

They stated that the difference between what they would have charged ($97) and what Accent charged($143) was $46 more a month! That's ridiculous! I am calling Accent Energy in the morning to have my mother's account removed. I feel Con Ed is partially responsible because they sent us the information and reiterated that we'd save money by purchasing from a supplier. What a Ripoff!
