I was offered a loan for 3,000 to be paid over 18 months at 183.33. I spoke to a guy named Brian Lincoln ( he had a very thick Indian accent), who told that I could get $5,000 more, but first he wanted the username and password of my bank account, and that he would put some money in my account, and I would have to pay it back by using Moneygram.

I got suspicious, and told him that I couldn't do that( I had gotten ripped off back in May, by some guy who said he was from Cash Advance America who wanted me to do the same thing, long story short, I got ripped off of over 3,200 dollars.) Any way this guy fron Ace Express said to call him back in an hour, which I have not.

Hello,

ACE is aware of fraudulent emails from individuals claiming to be from ACE Cash Express. These individuals may tell you that you are approved for a loan, provided that you are able to provide a “test deposit” beforehand.  In reality, these are fraudulent attempts to solicit money from you, and they are NOT from ACE Cash Express.

ACE will NEVER require you to make a payment in order to fund a loan. If you are interacting with someone who requires you to pay them in this manner, it is not ACE. If you are unsure if an email you received truly came from ACE, please forward it to tcmakal@acecashexpress.com, along with your contact information, and we will contact you as soon as possible. Thank you!

Good thing you didn't give him your account info

Since you fell for one of the scams recently, you are more likely to get more scammers contacting you as you are now on a list with others that have been scammed before. That list is sold from scammer to scammer so you will receive more "opportunities" you have to turn down.   It's excellent you didn't give him any info. Sorry about your previous experience. The only way we will be able to get rid of scammers is if no one falls for their latest trick. If they don't make any money, they will go away eventually.
