I am so sorry you take this as racism. I am a white woman, but I have been getting dragged through the mud as well. It is the economy, the recession. Some employers are acting like arrogant cherry-pickers to the extreme because of it.

I could not work for the past two years, due to a series of events. Before that, I had about twenty good, solid years of work history in diverse settings including labs, veterinary clinics, cookware companies, banks, and building supplies companies. In one place, I learned enough Spanish to be able to process customer orders. (Many customers spoke Spanish and thus the orders were in Spanish.) I consider that an asset to my flexibility and willingness to learn. I have plenty of other golden examples in my work history.

None of that seems to matter with a lot of current employers. It is as though some of them have developed a mean streak as they go off on a power trip. One of the worst cases was what my husband went through recently with another company, where they treated my husband like poop for no reason. It is very repugnant and all I can say is that it will come back to haunt them somehow. It's like a law of physics, it comes back to haunt them.

As for Adecco, I used to work for them ages ago. I started in one midwestern town and my contact there was the best. She was awesome. Then I moved back to the southeast. The girls there in that Adecco office were okay, but not as good. They found me work nonetheless, but then they went through a few rotations over the next few years. My last year there, the girls in the Adecco office were horrible. They were like you describe this woman, very much with attitude problems. When I called in asking for assignments, they would get this nippy tone like, "Why am I being bothered with all of these calls?"

Luckily I was registered with another temp agency at the time and they had some work orders that were a perfect match for me. By dumb coincidence, one of the assignments was in the same office building as this Adecco office. For giggles, I walked by it one day and I could sense their arrogance and contention in the air so badly, you could cut through it with a knife. The haughtiness was terrible and they really had no business working with people. It puts a bad light on Adecco to have people like that left in charge of placing people.

If they are that unhappy with their jobs, I would be more than happy to replace them. Then these arrogant fools can try calling me for a change, crying for a job assignment.

I would think that they would probably want at least one mexican workin for them so that they can at least say that they already have one of those. But your law suit sounds pretty weak.

It's easy to cry racist when something does not go your way. Just make sure you never used the word "gringo" or anglo in a pejorative sense or that would make you a hypocrite.

You use words like stupid and lazy and evil and lacking in consideration but you are too lazy and/or stupid to use the shift key when required by normal decent language rules. Then too, there are all your typos which show laziness, sloppiness and lack of consideration for your readers. Just what was it you learned in that fancy university of yours?

Perhaps it was your demeanor in writing sloppily that showed in your person in the interview. I wouldn't hire you either. Can you say "provisional" in Spanish (roughly translated in English as half-assed), or in other words "a media madre"?

And just for the record, my ex is Mexican and my sons are half Hispanic, so with me you' re not going to get away with being lazy and sloppy and incompetent just by saying the "R" word.

I'm reminded of the Hispanic English teacher I had in the community college I attended in San Antonio. She said when denoting possession with a word that ends in "s" one only needs to add an apostrophe, not 's, as "the ladies' hairdos instead of "the ladies's hairdos" which she said was incorrect and showed ignorance. She is my poster gal for proving that we need quality immigrants from South of the border, not ignorant ones... and not lazy ones, not sloppy ones, not uncaring ones.

In other words, people who want to make this a better country, not drag it down into the ghetto.
