I purchased a battery from advanceauto at mansfield rd store. They installed the battery in my car incorrect , now they refuse to pay for the adjustment cost to repair my hood.

The repairs are about 300.00 . Now, the reason advance says they will not pay is because the advance person that installed the battery told the district manager that he was not finished when I let the hood down , in
fact he said according to the district manager that he was going back in the store to get a tool.

I told the managers that's a lie, in fact I asked him was he finished and he said yes. I let the hood down because his hands were covered with battery acid and I did not want that on my $40,000.00 car.

I am a man of intergrity and I most certainly would not do anything to damage my car.

I just want AdvanceAuto to give me justice.

Correct what they wrong.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune but the bottom line is, most Advance employees are not mechanics and they definitely do not get paid nearly enough to do any work on your car. Customers like to take advantage of having batteries and wipers installed, some will try to get their lights changed and other work done instead of having a mechanic do the work, LIKE YOU SHOULD. If you want a store clerk to work on your car, don't be surprised by what you get. I don't care what the store signs say - no one wants to work on a customer's car, especially if they do not have the experience, time, or salary to make it worthwhile.
