Advantage America, government Grant Processing Department advantage America ripoff Florida Nationwide

I recevied a call from a company on 1/19/2006 claiming ,that my husband and or i can get a government grant because we are taxpayer that have never fild late and that we do not have a crimail record or have owed money to the I.R.S. At frist i was so happy to hear this because my husband is in collage right now, and the grant would be good.so when it came to giving them my bank account nr#, at frist i said i really should not do this because of all the scam's out there. the representative told me he understood,and that after i recevie the papperwork for the grant money,i can get the $49.95 refunded and to just call before 30 days to cancel the membership for than $299.00.

after i going off the phone with them something told me to look the company up, i found out that it is a scam, and then i called my bank to stop payment on the check number i gave them,so my bank representative told it would be a good idea to come in as soon as i can to get a new account number at my bank.

I feel so stupid , but i know i was only thinking how the $12,500 grant money would help my husband with school right now!

So now I have to go and get a new acoount with my bank!!!
But this will teach me, never to trust anyone on the phone telling me we can get money from a grant or anything els etc....
