Advantage America ripoff, dishonest, fraud Winter Park Florida

An agent from this company Advantage America called me and told me that my family had been chosen to recieve this 12,500.00 government grant. I was excited and did not realize that this was a scam because I had actually applied for a government grant a few times and never heard anything, but on January 11,2006 I thought my luck was changing when I recieved the call.

Boy was I wrong. I actually verified my account information with them and they verified they had the all the information they needed to direct deposit the money into my account within 48 hours, and the processing fee was 49.95 that would be withdrawn from the account on January 13,2006 which is today.

I called the bank to find out if the money had been deposited and they told me no. I called the company back and tried to give the id/tracking number they gave me and told me they could not use this number as they could not find my name in their system and that I would have to wait until I recieved the welcome package in the mail in 3-5 days. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told all supervisors were busy. So when I came into work I looked up the company and this rip-off site is what I found. I hope that there are not to many more out there like me so trusting to just be nailed to the wall.
